- Pasture Raised Chicken: Our pasture raised Cornish
Rock Cross broiler chickens are moved to new grass daily and
are provided with an all-natural mix of corn, oats, soybeans,
and minerals. at 8 weeks they average a dressed weight of 7 lbs.
and are plump, tender, and naturally delicious. Fresh chickens
will be available every 2 weeks starting June 28 - August 30,
2008. please pre-order your chickens by May 1st - July 1st. Pre-orders
are preferred, however, we may have additional birds available,
so please call to check.
- Pastured Brown Eggs: We have a limited supply of brown
eggs available. Our layer chickens spend spring, summer, and
fall on pasture, eating grasses, bugs, and the same all-natural
grains as our broiler chickens.
- Pasture Raised Heritage Turkeys: These birds love
the grass... and the bugs. Our turkeys get moved to fresh grass
every few days, as we have fewer of these, and they have more
room to roam. We are currently breeding Bourbon Reds and Slate
Grays, we may also have a few Narragansetts. Please pre-order
by may 1st, they will be ready Nov. 20th. Because of the slow-growth
of these turkeys they are approx. 8-10 lbs by thanksgiving. they
are also great for christmas...
